As a mom, there are few moments that rival the pride and joy of watching your children accomplish something they’ve worked hard for. On October 26, at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, I had the privilege of watching my daughters shine on the runway at the Toronto Kids Fashion Show. After a month of dedicated training, they looked absolutely stunning, and the experience was nothing short of memorable.
Preparing for the Big Day
In the weeks leading up to the show, my girls went through an intensive month-long training. Each session introduced them to the nuances of runway etiquette, posture, and confidence-building techniques. It was beautiful to see how they transformed week by week, blossoming with newfound poise and self-assurance. This experience wasn’t just about modeling; it was about learning resilience, teamwork, and the power of putting your best foot forward, both literally and figuratively.

The Fairmont Château Laurier provided a breathtaking backdrop for the show. Its elegance added an air of grandeur to the entire event, making the experience all the more special. The ambiance created a magical setting for the girls’ big moment, and they felt like they were stepping into a fairy tale.

As a mom, it was so rewarding to see them accomplish something they’d worked so hard toward.
