In my latest YouTube video, I break down a simple 5-minute makeup routine that’s perfect for beginners and anyone who needs to get ready in a hurry. Let’s dive into the details so you can follow along and recreate this look at home!

Step 1: Prep Your Skin with TULA Filter Primer

The first step to a flawless makeup application is a good primer, and the TULA Filter Primer is my go-to. This primer not only smooths out your skin’s texture but also provides a subtle glow that enhances your complexion. Apply a small amount to your face, focusing on areas where your makeup tends to fade, like the T-zone. This will help your makeup last all day while giving you that effortless, filtered finish.

Step 2: Foundation with MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation

For foundation, I’m using the MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation in the shade NC47. This foundation is perfect for achieving a natural, radiant look. It’s lightweight, buildable, and gives your skin a beautiful, dewy finish. Apply a small amount to the center of your face and blend outwards using a brush or sponge for an even application. You can build up coverage where you need it, but the goal here is to keep it light and fresh.

Step 3: Conceal with Maybelline FitMe Concealer

Next, I reach for the Maybelline FitMe Concealer in shade 35 to brighten up my under-eye area and conceal any blemishes. Dot the concealer under your eyes, on any blemishes, and along the bridge of your nose. Blend it out with a sponge or your fingertips for a seamless finish. This concealer is great because it provides good coverage without feeling heavy on the skin.

Step 4: Enhance Your Eyes with Nudestix and NAGI Cosmetics

For the eyes, I like to keep it simple yet impactful. Start by applying the Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color in Maroon’d all over your eyelids. This creamy, long-lasting eye shadow stick is perfect for adding a pop of color that’s easy to blend. Next, use the NAGI Cosmetics Eyeshade in Hussey to add a bit of depth to your crease. Blend well to avoid any harsh lines.

Step 5: Define with E.L.F. H2O Proof Eyeliner and L’Oreal Paris Panorama Mascara

Now it’s time to define your eyes! I’m using the E.L.F. H2O Proof Eyeliner to create a subtle wing. This waterproof formula ensures your eyeliner stays put all day. Finish off your eyes with a few coats of L’Oreal Paris Panorama Mascara to lengthen and volumize your lashes for that wide-eyed look.

Step 6: Shape Your Brows with NYX Micro Brow Pencil and Lottie London Mega Brow Glaze

Well-defined brows frame your face, so don’t skip this step! I use the NYX Micro Brow Pencil to fill in any sparse areas and shape my brows. Then, I set them in place with the Lottie London Mega Brow Brow Glaze. This combo gives you natural-looking, polished brows that stay in place all day.

Step 7: Contour with Beauty Wand and Dermablend Illuminating Banana Powder

For a quick contour, I use the Beauty Wand Contour in Tan/Deep. Apply it to the hollows of your cheeks, along your jawline, and the sides of your nose, then blend well. To set everything and add a subtle glow, dust a light layer of Dermablend Illuminating Banana Powder over your face. This powder brightens up your complexion while setting your makeup in place.

Step 8: Lip Color and Finishing Touches

For the lips, start with the Colour Riche Anti-Feathering Lip Liner in Truly Burgundy to define your lips. Then, apply Locked Kiss Lipstick in Poncy for a rich, long-lasting color. This lipstick is perfect for an everyday look that adds just the right amount of color to your face.

Step 9: Set Your Look with L’Oreal Infallible 3 Second Setting Mist

The final step is to set your makeup in place with the L’Oreal Infallible 3 Second Setting Mist. Hold the bottle at arm’s length and mist your face in an “X” and “T” shape to ensure even coverage. This setting spray helps lock in your makeup, keeping it fresh and flawless all day long. Plus, it adds a natural, dewy finish to your skin, making this quick routine look even more polished.
