I recently won a giveaway contest on Instagram which almost never happens. I was gifted with these wonderful all natural, cruelty free skin loving products.
This Canadian based company makes skin care products that will make you fall in love with skin care. I personally believe that skin care is self care and LuvBody helps with just that.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not really familiar with natural products. But nonetheless I started using the bar soap and body butter and quickly was enchanted by them.
All of the bar soap have really cool name that represents them. So they are all different but their fundamental ingredients remain the same. They all have olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and essential oils.
I’ve been using the Harmony bar soap religiously since I’ve first started using LuvBody. It contains calendula which is used to help with the healing and repairing of the skin. There are actual petals of the calendula flower in the soap! The olive oil acts as a moisture barrier on the skin.
It feels so nice on the skin and it thoroughly cleanses my skin. I love using the bar on my skin and on most days, I’ll sometimes use my loofah to exfoliate my skin. Otherwise, I just use it straight on and feel the petals caressing my skin with It’s healing kisses. It has a light fragrance that makes shower time pleasant. It’s gentle for the sensitive areas on the body and with calendula doing it’s job, the sun’s harsh effect on my body aren’t going to last long.
The body butter are named based on their fragrances which I’m all for. There’s something about a really nice fragrance that is really therapeutic for me. It call really lift me up when I’m having a bad day. If you’re like me then you’ll enjoy these body butters.
The Sweet Red Tea Luxurious Body Butter is heaven in a jar. This body butter alone has made me fall in love with body skin care. It smells like heaven (…or sweet red tea).
It looks like whipped cream and applies smoothly like a moisturizing glove waiting to take you on the best date of your life. At least that has been my experience. Just writing about it makes me want to open the jar and smell it.
This has been my experience after a week of using Luv Body. I’m so grateful to have won this giveaway. Did I mention that this is a Canadian based natural skin care company? Talk about the icing on the cake.
